About this policy

This policy explains how Face Rating (facerating.co) handles information when you use the site. You must be at least 18 to use the service or buy a report.

Free scores: your photo stays on your device

The free tool runs a facial landmark model in your browser to measure proportions and angles in your photo. The photo stays on your phone or computer; it is not uploaded to our servers. You can get a free score without registering or signing in.

Paid reports: when we receive your photo

Buying a full report does not itself upload your photo. Only after you have bought a report and click generate does the photo go to our servers. We pass it through fal and OpenRouter to an Anthropic model that reads it and writes the report.

We send X-Fal-Store-IO: 0 with each request to tell fal not to store the request history. This is a request setting described in fal's documentation.

OpenRouter says it can send requests to providers with a zero-data-retention policy, and that some providers keep data, for example to scan for abuse. See OpenRouter's zero data retention guide.

Anthropic says its API deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days by default, with exceptions such as other agreements. See Anthropic's data retention terms.

We have not confirmed that the actual route through fal, OpenRouter, and Anthropic uses zero retention, so we do not promise it. The fal request setting does not establish retention across the whole route.

We do not keep the photo in permanent storage. We delete it as soon as the report is finished and keep the report text. The report is an estimate based on the geometry in a photo, not a judgment of you or medical advice.

Accounts and support messages

If you sign in by email, we store your email address and the account and session information needed to sign you in. If you use Google sign-in, we also store the name and email address Google supplies. We keep purchase records and report text associated with your account so we can provide the reports and handle purchase questions.

If you email support, we keep your address and message to respond to your request. To ask about the information held for your account, or to request access, correction or deletion, write to support@facerating.co. Rights and any required retention of records depend on the law that applies to you.

Payments

Waffo acts as the seller of record and processes payments for paid features. Waffo receives the payment information needed to complete the purchase. We keep the purchase records needed to provide the service, but do not store your card number.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Sign-in uses cookies to maintain your session. We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, including which pages people visit and the browsers and devices they use. Analytics uses cookies and sends usage information to Google.

For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for consent before enabling Google Analytics. You can decline analytics. Browser settings also let you manage cookies; blocking sign-in cookies may prevent you from staying signed in.

We also use self-hosted analytics with first-party cookies solely to count visits and identify invalid traffic, never for ads; you can refuse this in Cookie settings.

With your analytics cookie choice, we record the website or campaign link you first arrived from, the landing page path and visit time in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days, and associate this information with your account and orders to understand acquisition channels, not for advertising; it is not sent to third parties, and you can refuse or withdraw this recording in Cookie settings.

Adults only

The service is for people aged 18 and over, and you may use only your own photo. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information through the service, contact support@facerating.co so we can address it and delete the information.
